Overview
Pieria turns a TV, monitor or colour e-ink panel into a museum wall: more than 2,800 curated public-domain masterpieces, each with a museum placard, shown with slow pan-and-zoom. It is self-hosted with no account or subscription, so it can't be bricked when a vendor shuts down.
How it works
You flash one image to a Raspberry Pi (or use a smart-TV browser) and set it up from your phone. Art is downloaded from collections such as the Met, Rijksmuseum and the Smithsonian and keeps working offline. Each work gets an auto-generated placard with a QR code for details.
