Overview
A public-domain reverse-engineering write-up of the G+ Pixer e-ink photo frame, with a Python script that uploads your own pictures to it.
How it works
The frame has a 7.8-inch 1872×1404 Carta e-ink screen, an IT8951E controller and a TI CC3xxx Wi-Fi chip. Poking the reset hole wakes it into a Wi-Fi hotspot, and commands go over TCP to 192.168.1.1:6000. Images are sent as a 4-bit greyscale binary payload with a `#file#` header followed by a `#MOVE#` command.
