Overview
A hacked 1998 Furby turned into a desktop voice assistant that moves while it talks.
How it works
A Raspberry Pi with a WM8960 audio HAT listens for a wake word using Picovoice Porcupine. It transcribes speech with Whisper or Google Speech-to-Text and answers with OpenAI, speaking through Google Cloud TTS (ElevenLabs optional). An L298N H-bridge drives the Furby's original motor to animate it during conversations.
