Overview

An ESP32 e-ink calendar in a 6-inch wooden photo frame. Each day it shows the date, weather, holidays, a quote and an AI-generated picture that can't be saved or changed.

How it works

A Waveshare ESP32 e-paper driver board drives a Waveshare 5.65-inch 7-colour e-ink panel and updates automatically at midnight. The picture is generated from that day's weather, holidays and quote. It runs off a 5000 mAh battery with no power switch, and magnets hold the back panel on for easy charging.
