Overview

A low-power heads-up display for everyday life running on a second-hand Kindle, now in its second version after years of daily use.

How it works

Version 2 is written in Go and uses FBInk for text layout and image output on the Kindle's e-ink screen. The rewrite moved away from a Rust front end that needed a cross-compiling toolchain, after weather APIs the dashboard depended on kept shutting down.
